“Reaching by serving” – is the theme for this year’s leadership conference in Stockholm. Jesus taught us to love and serve one another in the same way which he has loved and served us, the biggest example of this being that he gave his life for us when he died on the cross. When we look around us we see people with enormous needs – spiritual, psychological and physical. The message of Jesus to proclaim freedom for the prisoner and sight to the blind requires more than just words and kind thoughts. When proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirits power there is healing, restoration, freedom and new life.
Rt. Rev. Dr. David Carr is this year’s main speaker. He is the leader of The Renewal
Christian Centre (a Methodist church) situated in Birmingham. He is a down to earth speaker with a BIG heart and passion for the poor, the vulnerable and needy. His church supports an extensive and impressive social work in Birmingham. http://www.renewalcc.com/.
David has a strong prophetic gifting and his church has experienced a tangible presence of the Lord which has resulted in many miracles and healings. David is a much appreciated speaker who lives out what he teaches. He is often found speaking at conferences all over the world and has written a number of books, for example “The five attributes of a church in renewal” and “Have you passed the DNA test?”.
Rev. Mark Aldridge who is the vicar of “The Oak Tree Anglican Fellowship”, Acton, London and the leader of New Wine International will also be speaking at the conference.
